using this number for phone scam. Claims to be from a Govt department and asks for your personal information

I left the country long time more then 1 yr and they keep SMS me Please call recoveriescorp on 1300 307 497 today, so Idont have no business no house nothing even no bank account I leave the country they keep SMS

Received text message today from 0428 775 677 from recoveries corp asking me to phone back then they want your personal information before they tell you who they are. THIS IS A SCAM. I HUNG UP.

Have received 2 texts regarding outstanding bill from Optus and virgin hmmm haven't been contacted previously but wanted me to pay up and give credit card number to pay. Not likely I have advised I will contact ombudsman regarding the bills..... No answer yet

They are very anoying. Why cant they send a letter in the mail. It makes no sense. They are just wasting everybody's time.

Have received text messages from this number and 0458 030 632 claiming to be Recoveries Corp but also had a link to the Optus billing page. I contacted Optus and they assured me it had nothing to do with them.

CAUTION - SCAMMMM!!!!
Just got a call from these guys claiming to be from the ATO and wanting to discuss a matter relating to my tax. Of course not providing any information but asking for my details, which I did not provide. They said that they had sent a letter on the matter and asked if I had received it. I said if the letter was from the ATO, why it had not been sent to MyGov. All my tax affairs are managed by my accountant and I know I have no issues. I think they got the idea and hung up on me but later sent a SMS asking me to call them make to resolve the matter - DON'T CALL. The number provided is also not registered to recoveriescorp to who they claim to belong to.
I'm so over this kind of stuff - who is responsible for regulating it?

Texted from this number after i told them to try scamming someone else when they called me at 7:30 pm !!! Recoveriescorp ... regarding a non-existent tax debt .. i dont even pay tax as under the threshold .. These are scary and make me feel sick!!!

Scams from a blocked number and though SMS. Really? Look out for "important metter" spelling mistakes in their texts.

Just got a message from this number to call back regarding money owing. Asked for my personal information but won't explain where they are from. I owe no money that I am aware of?
