Scammer buying car on gumtree!

Trying to sell a car on allclassifieds and got text from this number. Had similar experiences on this site before trying to sell cars. Know what to look out for and tend to ignore them. Thanks for listing the number

Answered ad re sale of caravan on Gumtree. Working on oil rig NZ. Wanted Pay pal or bank details to transfer $32.500 into. Courier to pick up van after payment to take it to Darwin for him. Gave the email address as Denismacus @ gmail.com

Got the same "son in Darwin" story twice from the 0428 465 117 with different gmail accounts.

Text asking for details of a car listed in Auto Traders. Thanks to Reverso I hit the delete.

Still scamming. Sent three sms with three differnt names and email addresses. When I sent an email I got the I am a sailor and can't ring. Send your bank or Paypal details.

Contacted about chair for sale on gumtree almost as soon as listed. I have been contacted twice first a Michelle and then two weeks later Thomas same number. Absolute SCUM

I posted an add for a vehicle, shortly afterwards I received an SMS from a person calling himself Mark - markphilis@ gmail.com- asking about the vehicle. I have checked both the phone number and email- both have been flagged as a known fraudster !!

Yep same story again, selling my car on gumtree, received SMS from "Michael Seay" wanting to buy my car and to get back to him at yob*hugh*@gmail.com

Revived a text message from a Paul Jason about buying my car from Gumtree, asking to reply a dodgy email address. I replied to the email & got a reply with a cock & bull story from an offshore oil & gas worker from Darwin in NZ wanting my Paypal account or bank account details. Dodgy scammer.
