Scammer trying to buy my car. How is this number not cancelled??

Text from this same number about a car I have listed on gumtree ...
a very common number for this particular scam.
I have removed my phone number now - apparently they contact via text as they can't go through the gumtree messaging system. Best to just not list your phone number anywhere online.

Yes a definite scammer does he think anybody is stupid enough to send some idiot money to free up money

Got an sms from this number trying to buy our car. Says his name is Alex More and was happy to pay "full price" via Paypal. Stated "he" would send a private courier agent to collect the car. His email address is alexmore0001 @ outlook.com

Low life did the same thing on me

ive received 5 texts from this number regarding my vehicles on gumtree, sent 3 about the same car at different times all from this number all claiming to be different people and all different email addresses. it was the usual bullsh*t western union pay crap working on oil rig ect. this scumbag needs to be caught. hope he rots in a jail cell.

yes they always used same numbers to reply to my gumtree add just used difrent email address. scamming c*nts something needs to be done. anyone noticed that its always gmail accounts and when I responded via yahoo they answered but it happened to a friend who has gmail and they replied by gmail and the scammer never emailed back.

Got a text message asking for more details to be emailed to "Simon". Got an email back with the same NZ offshore worker story asking for bank details or paypal and then ship to Darwin. Seemed all very strange and decided to look up his number. He/she seems to be a very busy scammer!

Tried to buy car off gumtree. I told him to send a reply thru gumtree. Did this so it could be tracked. I am wary of anyone that asks me to email,them thru gumtree

Second email from this scammer re car sale. Test the same as last week but different email mca.ryan1 @ yahoo.com.au

Got a Text from this number calling himself Zac Bowd in regards to buying furniture I have on Gumtree, He said he is buying it for his cousin in Australia and will pay for Transport but wanted our account details or gave us the dodgy bpay. Hopefully one day he or she will get what is coming to them.

The low life scammer is still at it for my gumtree listing. He needs the "squirrel grip!"

He is still in business. Got an enquiry from him today. Might play a little game.....
