Scammer is still operating 28th of May 2013. But maybe that is better as his phone number and email address can be googled any time so at least people are aware that he is the low life of this earth. Police should do something about it.

Got 2 messages same number different names. I'm worried I emailed back to the first one, I knew it would be too good to be true. Didn't supply bank details at all

I got a text message from this number asking about furniture I have for sale, requested email response only to zachardf1 @ gmail.com (apparent lack of mobile reception). He gave no specifics of what he was looking for, asked for a best price of all of it and said "if all looked good he would forward payment". Obviously a scammer.

Listed my car on Gumtree. This is his message: Sent from: Barry. I will like to know if your car is still available and to know the FIRM price, please get back to me ASAP on barryrichie345 @ gmail.com. Regards, Barry.
He seems to target new users to gumtree. Little does the scum know I set up an email address to sell this car. Long time user and not new to ar@eholes like this!!!

Is a scammer trying to buy my car via gumtree.
He says he's off shore, can't talk on the phone, working for an oil company.
Just delete his contact, he is a scammer. There are 100s of other entries against him.

This is a total scam and I have reported him to the authorities.

Texted me just now asking me to send an email/text concerning my house ad on gumtree.

8 separate messages asking for firm price, all wanting responses to gmail account. Responded to the first who emailed that she was working on an oil rig and would buy car and deal through paypal. They are all scams
