Caller: Text message sent to me - on behalf of Belgrave Police, Victoria

Can’t be too serious or important if the police are sending text messages via some other company that appears to be dodgy...
I think everyone should block this number 📵

This is what l received via text - l suspect are Scammers
REF M319258-2: Hi Vxxxx UHG is to organise Medicals for your recent Insurance app. Please expect a call from our Nurse shrotly to arrange. Regards UHG

I received two text messages from this number, both times signed as Sam. The second messages reads "Hey guys, are you able to start at 3pm today, please? So it'll be a 3-8.30 shift. We are very busy and need all the hours we can get! Please let me know asap. Thanks, Sam". The first message was on the similar lines, just asking for different hours of work.

Text received saying immediate contact required. Called number. Claims to be debt collector DNB but hung up on me when I did not want to give my personal details such as my address. Could not provide detail of debt owing except Qld Motorways (Tolls). Note the toll account was cancelled when I sold my car on 04/06/2016 and final payment was made when I cancelled the toll tag.

His name is Steve Mcghie, this wanker works as a debt collector for Lion Finance

This number was used to send a scam email to me about a car I have for sale on carsales.com.au, attempting to get personal details. See cam report elsewhere.

They used the name

Got the following SMS from this number .."your rent was due on 02/09/15. You are currently 7 days in arrears. Please arrange for immediate payment to avoid a potential Breach Notice being issued."

No other details were provided and every one of my rent payments have been paid so this is suspiciously sounds like someone trying to scam me out of money!

Beware peoples!!

Message received saying my rent was one day in arrears and to pay 70 immediately. It's not and I'd love it if 70 covered my rent.

Some predatory type seeking to steal info and iD

Just got an SMS asking if I'm available for a temp role as an ADP payroll Officer in the CBD. I think I will let this one go.

SMS's about a fat loss challenge. I wish they'd just bugger off!! I wish you could block people from texting as well as calling!!

I received a phone call from a lady requesting personal details. I explained I wasn't comfortable giving out private details unless I knew who I was giving details to. The lady (who had a foreign accent) explained that she was representing on behalf of a client and was based in melbourne REETU is the only name I recieved. She then said if I gave her my full name, address and date of birth she could confirm my suburb and only my suburb as apparently a letter had been posted to my address regarding the matter. Alarm bells rang. I asked her for a contact number and I would call back. She then informed me she would send me a text with details, all of which are uncontactable. I then tried the mobile number the text was sent from and it was switched off or not in a coverage area. I guess I'll wait and see if anything does happen to come in the post.

Received an SMS saying, "You have a message from Jose an assessor will be in touch to confirm assessment with in 24 to 28 hrs. thank yo - ref 795748."

Message contains spelling errors/typos (yo instead of you) Called this number from a landline and it said that the mobile is switched off or not in coverage area. I presume its spam.

I believe it's a shared number from a bulk SMS service that companies can use to contact people.

Received TXT stating debt consolidation - called back and mobile phone # switched off - seemed od and do not know what the debt is in relation to.

Seems like spam, got sms informing about a massage appointment and asking to call back at number 43931200.

Spammer. Says they're from Philip Morris & that I have an order that needs to be confirmed. I've gotten this message on this and 10 other mobile numbers so far.
