I freaked out for a second there as the whole system here did not feel right. I provided feedback telling them that it should be updated.

No other info was asked fore.
Appears to be NORMAL communication.

I also just had the same thing happen except I was told that my account had been credited with $25,000. 🤣🤣

Just got off phone reporting a fault with Telstra. During the call I get a msg $20.000 has been credit to me. Makes me think the scammers are working for Telstra?

Numerous text messages about broadband outages in my area. Only links are to supposed outages webpage - have not clicked. Also a link to some tracking id - again - have not clicked. All while my internet is still working.

Told me my Telstra account is overdue, which they aren’t. I also have a couple of accounts, so any official correspondence lists the last four digits of the account in question. This mob of arseclowns did not. Ho hum.

According to all the comments above - this is a scam call supposedly from Telstra - I have been ignoring them but tonight I got a "Hi from Telstra: Confirming $4000 has been credited to (my actual account number) on today's date 16/07/24. This will appear on one of your next two bills. Sorry no txt replies". So I am blocking this number for future calls. Honestly who would anonymously pay $4000 into my telephone account.

Get one every month telling me my account is overdue, but when I go into the app, it isn't, and the text isn't showing up in the 'activity' in the app. I can only assume it's a scam.
