I called back number 0427 138 481 reached IVR for a company called Capfin .

Its from a company called CAPFIN. Financial services company

I received a call from this mobile number @ 1137 today. I missed the call but was left a voicemail from a woman named Laura (with an American sounding accent). She said that she had an important matter to discuss with me and could I return her call on (07) 5555 2759 and quote a reference number. I have called the number from a landline and Laura has answered (no formal company greeting). I advised that I was left a message to call her regarding an important matter to which she asked who I was. I did not give her my name but asked her who she was and where from. She said she was from a investigative company on the Gold Coast and she was investigating an important matter. She asked again for my name but I gave her my "reference number" instead, which didn't seem to make a difference. She said she had called 3 people today - Pamela, Susan & another name I can't recall. I said none of those were my name at which point she asked my name again. I said she must have called the wrong number then she asked again if I was Pamela. I said no and said I couldn't help her. She said she will just have to continue with her investigation and hung up.
