Hello and then hang up! I have blocked caller...strange

No message left. I don't answer unknown mobile numbers.

A government incentive. When I asked for her to take me off call register she said 'not until you tell me if your a home owner's. I asked again and she said 'If you won't answer I will be calling you back' and hung up on me

Called me and my screen said Potential Fraud. So i cut the incoming call straight away. I discovered it had gone to voicemail. I listened to it. It was a woman with a NZ accent. She perhaps didn't realise it was recording her. She was waiting and could hear her saying, "Come on, maaam! Please answer! What do I dooooo! This is f%$@#& ridiculous!! Yep, we're paused. So stuuupid!" I have no idea who it was.

Called no voice message and no answer when they call back

I told them my age because I'm over 60 so she said ok. Can they track more info from my phone and age?. I'm scared I did the wrong thing!

SCAM - “Advisory Center” pretending to be from the Government.

I told them they should be ashamed of trying to scam people with a global recession upon us. Scumbags.

its a scam guys. just block the number.

Called today at 10.30am. Lady called Caroline - Australian Advisory Service, Victorian Assessment Centre, asked if I was under 60 and a homeowner, I replied ‘no’. ‘I can’t help you then’, she said. ‘Have a good afternoon’ - don’t know where her call centre is, it’s still the morning here. DODGY SCAM - number blocked.

Called to ask if I was interested in government incentive then proceeded to ask personal questions. Whether I was renting or had mortgage. Got very defensive when I told them it sounds like a scam. Block this number!!

Ignored the call as the number is not on my contact list. Didn’t leave a voicemail but seeing the comments about this number I will block.

Call came from 0426 367 108. Asked the lady for their website and she said they did not have one. I asked to speak to Manager and she said he was out.

I told her that this was very suspect and it seemed strange that a company with no website and no registered business name would be contacting me and gatherting information.

She said I'l leave you to it then - DODGY

Classic scam - they fish for info about you then tell you that you can get a government benefit and start hooking you in. A similar mob try and sell you a SMSF or 'promise' better returns than an industry fund if you transfer to AMP (without providing a single shred of evidence). Ask to be removed from their list and tell them you'll never buy from them.

My god how rude they are. After politely declining they kept talking over me and telling me my finacial advisor wont be giving me correct info, yet an unsolicited phone call will. Told them sales 101, dont talk over your customer its rude. Talked over me again so I said goodbye
