Arrogant sounding a**hole called Russell called asking the usual questions about Govt Tax Incentives. Told him I was not interested having one of his ‘experts’ come over and talk us through the info. We already have someone looking after us. He replied, “Oh well, I guess you’re not winning then” and hung up. Yep, I’m not winning... I don’t work for an annoying call centre and piss people off... what a loser I am.... Prick. Just hang up on them right away.

Thanks for the info on this number. Straight to my block list! Also i now reject unknown number with a text msg. If it's important they would have replied

Caller: Brie from the Australian Advisory Centre

'Brie' advised me that I could redirect 40% of my income tax into my mortgage and I just needed to answer a few personal questions for them to 'do a calculation' for me. She also said it definitely wasn't a scam, ha ha. I asked why an investment company would be calling me about this instead of the ATO. She said "why would the ATO want to tell you how you can save tax? They don't want to promote it!". I said I wasn't comfortable providing personal info over the phone and her tone completely changed. I said bye and hung up at that point.

Received a call from a woman claiming to be from Australian Advisory Centre. She went on to ask if I'd heard about the money I could withdraw from super.
I said 'No I'm not interested' and as I was hanging up heard her say rudely 'Well you don't have to be interested Maam!'

Called stating they were calling from the Australian advisory center, and wanted to know if myself or anyone in my house was under 60, working and owned the house. Told them we were all over 60 but thanks for calling and hung up. Googled and it’s a scam. Have reported to government Scam watch and advise others to do the same.

Very pushy, just wanting to "quickly qualify me and then get out of my hair" - under 60, working, home owner. Tried to launch into how much my house is worth etc. When I asked who they were, she said the government were passing on up to 40% off income tax and they were authorised to offer this Federal Government rebate. When I said, "Just a minute, while I've got you I"ll just look this up" and she hung up on me!

Very doubtful that they could do anything with the information, unless you gave them bank account details or credit card numbers, and even then, they're after bigger things.

A woman called from "Australian Advisory Centre" and said she wanted to see if I qualified for "government incentives." She wanted to know if I was a home owner, employed and under sixty - its a yes to all three, but I said I wasn't, and she persisted anyway. When she realised I was playing with her, she hung up. I have also received a call from 0415 496 932 - I explained that I was at wok and couldn't talk to her, and she snapped "well why did you pick up, then?" Um - that's my business. Its funny that they don't even attempt to be civil when they know you're on to them.

Call from mobile number 015 496 932. NOT a Government Agency - cannot find them on the web. Asked if I was under 60 and a home owner and informing me of Government tax incentives. I told them if there are tax incentives than my accountant will know about it.

This is a scam where they gather info and then send to other companies to offer tax incentives/financial advice. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION! May sound good at the start but ultimately the goal is to take your money.
