Caller: Claimed to be NBN Robocall claiming to be NBN (from a private looking mobile number?) about the whole coexistence with the old Telstra system time window coming to an end and your landline and fixed line broadband may be disconnected soon.
That is fair enough and could possibly be legit, but along with what seemed to be a normal mobile number instead of some call centre land-line, some of the wording seemed off - like that there's a crazy rush to switch RIGHT NOW sort of feel, trying to panic the less technologically inclined.
Then there's "press 1 to connect to a technician"
Uh, why? NBN isn't meant to interact with end users AT ALL other than one way PSAs, they should have said something like "contact your RSP ASAP for your options to switch" if this was real.
Obviously I didn't press 1, but between sus number, the wording be a bit sus, and then that really sus ending, pretty sure this was a scam call. But with how sh*t the govt/NBN management are, you never know!
