Caller: Some hoax call telling you that a free Ipad is on offer

Just received a call from the number 0424 700 071. The caller was quick to run through their offerings for a free IPad if you can quickly go through a survey on the phone. When I politely refused, he just hung up. Beware of these calls and any free offers - not worth your time or money.

they said my internet was at risk some breech, I just deleted number didn't sound right.

Relax people what if someone hacked his number and used it just like mine was before. Chill out read all the comments not that bigger deal is it??

Unwanted caller selling FREE chance to secure (win?) an ipad by completing a survey that - no doubt - buys them time to sell you up. stopped right there and ended call and added to my blocked caller in my iphone ( if you aren't doing that yet - google how to block callers on your mobile device.

Person knew my first name and asked to speak to me then hung up very quickly when I asked who was calling.

Asked if I was ..... (used my husband's Christian name) when I said no I am his wife, he hung up. I rang back and he didn't answer. Wanker.

Annoying. Calling n hanging up. Not answering. These people data mine to know if your number is active and they sell your number.
