Message telling me I have been selected as a lucky winner in the ongoing "Texas Free Lotto" promotion with an email address to claim prize.

Message at 12.43am: "Your mobile number has been randomly selected as a lucky winner at the ongoing Texas Free Lotto promotion. For claims, email: claims @ texaspromo. org

Obviously a scam

I got a text saying that my "mobile number has been randomly selected as a lucky winner at the ongoing Texas Free Lottery" and to contact their claims email.

Same as the other reports - spam SMS advertising loans and directing the suckers to an email address at a dodgy domain. The name has obviously been chosen in the hope it will be confused with Prudent Financial Services by the modern dyslexic (a strategy which seems to have been reasonably effective after reading these complaints).

Called and doesnt go through - SCAM

Received a message saying 'Prudent Financial services are currently offering loans with low interest rates. To apply, Pls contact us at: loans @ prudentfinancierservice.com'. Obvious scam.

Like others have mentioned, it's a SPAM & Scam SMS offering loans with low interest rates. Also what a great time to be messaging people at 6:14 in the darn morning you scamming low life dogs. If I could find out the Mob & People behind this number I'd send them messages & calls at 4 in the morning and see how they like being woken up. Luckily I have a modern day phone so they can just be added to a block list and be done away with.

Will be reporting this to my Carrier too, the "61" definitely is an Australian number unless their using VOIP where their number is being masked as an Australian number when it's really something else.

I revived this SMS out of the blue myself, however when I tried calling it was just a message service.
