Caller: Border Publications Beware of these scammers! It's not even a company. They have a non-existent ACN number. No physical address. Only a PO Box address in NSW. They have registered few email addresses on bigpond, ranging from borderpub, bordpub1, bordpub33, border88 and so on. They troll the Facebook, ABN register, white pages, and internet domain name register to find small businesses they can prey on. Then these people call you and say they work for 'Police' and tell about a fake magazine (no physical magazine, just an online PDF file on issuu website) and try to tempt you to 'publish' an advert on it. Even if you say you are not interested these people will call back again to persuade you. After a while, they will send an 'invoice' for an 'advert' which is a screen-shot of your Facebook page banner or website/other social media saying it is published, asking for $300+. If you don't pay, they start sending letters from a company called Debt Recover & Litigation Pty Ltd. These guys (including the so called 'debt collectors' which I have no doubt associated to these scammers) are parasites living off vulnerable people. Do not fall into their trap, hang up the call immeidately if you get a call from anyone saying they have connection to 'police'. This is one of their one of the phone numbers 0423 764 827, block and black list! If you are a victim to these people contact the consumer affairs and lodge a complaint.

Caller: Border Publications / Police Down Under Beware! These guys are using the word 'Police' to intimidate/threaten victims and ask for money for advert/book/magazine/_____ (fill in with your choice) that you never authorised or asked for or seen.
They will keep sending emails using admin @ borderpublications.com.au email address and harass you until you give in.
Do not let the word Police fool you. They have no connection to Police what so ever. Do not open the emails or attachments they send.
These people need to be reported Australian Consumer Affairs.
