Australian Contact Center Spam

i had a missed call from a mobile number 0423 708 998) that was calling me dozens of times without leaving any sort of message so i finally called back to see if it would answer and to my surprise they did.
they kept asking me to confirm my phone number but when i'd refuse and ask "who is this company" at first she bumbled along saying they look after a number of other companies but their company name is, according to them - get ready for it, "The Australian Contact Centre". (actually that was once their official name so maybe she'd just been there for a long time).

Regardless, that gave me a little giggle so I replied "the Australian Contact Centre for what? if you told me then maybe i'd know why you keep calling?"
"that's just the company name, 'the australian contact centre' - just give me your number and we'll find out why you were called" aka so they can flag me as a potential future sucker for whatever sh*t it is theyre flogging.

anyway long story short i told her I didnt believe there was any company in Australia called "The Australian Contact Centre" and asked for the companies ABN. Guess she thought it was a bluff (or maybe because it's law) because she gave it to me.

Simple ABN lookup of 38 136 863 217 in less than 30 seconds while she was still on the phone brought me to a company called 'Salescorp Marketing Solutions Pty Ltd' located in 51a/3184 Surfers Paradise Blvd, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217.

after I read this out to her she almost laughed herself, realising she was wasting not only my time but hers as well, and said "sorry, goodbye then".

anyway on their website it has this quote for prospective clients:

"here is only one reason we stay on top... outstanding, absolutely quantifiable results for clients. Customised systems, processes and technology allow Salescorp Marketing to provide blue chip clients with solutions to customer service, specialised appointment setting, EOI's and highly targeted lead generation. i'm on the bloody dole you morons. i've never made more that 35-40k a year. so much for your long list of blue chip clients and international property groups. scraping the bottom of the barrel eh? you c*nts need to f*ck right off give ya balls a tug because i have real calls that i need to answer instead of buggerising around with this nonsense.

Just some dude trying to send me an income insurance quote from Virgin Money. I said I wasn't interested but he still tried to get my email address so I just hung up.

They just hang up on me - guess they are testing if real number

Harassing me almost daily for the last 3-4 weeks. Leaves long silent messages on my voicemail. The one time I spoke to someone, she was very pushy and rude. Kept calling me "Darl" and "Sweetie" *vomit* so patronising! Pressed me for personal information.
Blocking this number now!

not hard to tell that these previous 3 reviewers (the one below even admits as much) are likely current or former employees of this company, because no one in their right mind would give this deceitful company a good review. this includes you, prospective clients.
