Caller: Probable predictive dialer

Like others here, I get several calls a week from this number on my mobile. If I answer there is no-one on the other end. This is probably a predictive dialer (basically to log answered calls for further follow-up), as I have had an upsurge in unsolicited telemarketer and scam calls (including the infamous ATO one) since I first answered it. Recommend BLOCK and REPORT this number!

These people are NOT telemarketers! I am on the DO NOT CALL register and have told them so time and again and they just laugh at me and continue ringing me up to 6 times a day. They are scammers posing as representatives supposedly handing out your pretend holiday and prizes in order to gain your personal details. Bit hard to win anything when I don't actually enter anything.

They call but leave no message but I can hear noises in the background so they are still on the line. I have blocked the number but it still goes through to my voicemail. I called them back and asked them to remove my phone number - was informed it could take up 30 days so would still get calls.

Annoying and calls multiple times a week. Blocking number now. Always an Indian accented man, not sure if with a company or just an annoying scammer?

I have asked to be taken off the call list. Let's see what happens.

Has an Australian accent. Their web site is on a Wordpress platform. Any hackers out there that can bring their site down about 7 times a week?
What happened to the authorities and law that prevents anyone using a carriage service to harass, intimidate or cause distress to another person?
Why isn't the company hauled over the coals about this?

This one called from America about a survey that i took part in a few months ago. I just ended the call as he was speaking

If I answer the call they hang up, but keep calling back!

Repeated calls from this number with no message. Thanks to comments here I have now blocked it.

harassing calls when i told them in not interested in sales. They use differnt number to get back at you with.

Deal with wallet wizard and this is the message delivery service it hangs up as soon as you pick up. the message you will receive is to call the company back as they don't ring and talk to people a spam service.

Caller: Platinum Holiday Club

I received a call from this number and was told I had won a $2000 travel voucher if I signed up to the 'Platinum Holiday Club' for 10 payments of $49? They somehow received my personal details through some survey I did online. I was told that they offered this to five people per state.
I only talked for 10 minutes as I was unsure whether it was for a competition I recently entered. I told them I was sceptical and they gave a number to enter on an official government business registry, which did list them as a legitimate business.
My best guess is that this number is only a rip-off call centre business rather than a scam.
