Seems quite a number of people are receiving these calls. I called Telstra and they would neither Confirm or Deny the calls came from them. I am contacting the Telecommunications Ombudsman to see if that office can help.

1 for yes 2 for no 3 never to call back after third call said they were from telstra.
Ring telstra and complain over and over because they are the people giving these turds the cheap calls

I got a missed call and a text message saying "Hi, we have tried to return your call. We will attempt to call you 2 times over the next hour. From Telstra"

Same here - the number is disconnected

Message left on answering machine says its from Telstra but when you ring back it says that phone number has been disconnected.
