Caller: Claims to be Telstra

Received text message about unsuccessfully trying to return my call (no calls from this number but plenty from (03) 8619 7779 and truncated voice mails from this same number). Claim to be Telstra. Never tried to contact Telstra so can’t see how they are returning my call.

Very suspicious. If it is genuinely Telstra why do they call up to 10pm at night and not give details of what it is in relation to. Not happy Jan if this is how Telstra is now handling service.

Definitely a scam

we just called by this number today saying it was Telstra, but I don't think it is, probably a scam.

I too have even receiving these alls and a message on my answer machine makes no sense. If it is Telstra then I will lodge a complaint with the Telecommunications Ombudsman!

Someone has tried ringing from this number but if I try to ring it back it with-in minutes - it says it is disconnected
