We have had a number of calls from this number, but no one ever speaks they eventually hang up. I assume it is a nuisance call.

Hi. Our household have received calls from this number on a weekly basis. I have managed to get the following information from the operator on the other end. The calls are coming from an Indian Call Centre, claiming to be working on behalf of two Australian Solar Panel Providers and the call centre has been engaged to call every Australia household regarding a Government Solar Rebate. The operator gave me the business names of the two Australian businesses. Please note that this is a scam. They are requesting personal information from you for an apparent appointment with a field operator who will visit your home to discuss the rebate in detail. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS TO ANYONE. This is a scam. I did contact one of the Australian businesses and they are aware of these telemarketers and due to the volume of calls that they have received they have placed a warning on their website. I always enquire with these marketers how they managed to obtain our contact details as we are on the do not call register. One such source of information is a database collection company named Australia Online.

The is an automated Dialler calling to sell lights, unfortunatly scammer not quick enough to pick up answered call. Absolute nuisance so I make it a point to buy NOTHING over the phone and cost them as much as possible so do not hang up either until they drop out.

Received call. I missed it on land line. Checked if it was in my mobile address book but not so googled and read above messages. Thank you to everyone who bothers to document these annoying nuisance callers.

Rang 10am-could hear someone moving at other end, they didn't speak and just hung up after about 10 seconds.

Said they were to assess our stability for LED replacements under the Aust Gov Scheme; but sounded dodgy!

Says they are calling from Sunrise Solar, but can't provide any company details. Strung them out to waste their time until they got bored of it and hung up.

Landline number rang, no-one on the other end, phone number "disconnected" when return call made.... sounds dodgey... are they logging into our internet? Computer? Bank accounts??? Who knows and how can we stop it?

they rang at 8pm on a friday night, when I went off at her (foreign lady) asking if she was for real ringing on a Friday night to sell me crap she was like oh no, no. Then I said I was on the do not call register and she apologised and hung up.

I have had at least three calls from this number. No one speaks just hangs up a few seconds after I answer.

Solar panels rebate - now coming in with a caller ID from a mobile phone number, even though it was clear from the background noise that it was just another call centre.
