Caller: Crime & Prevention Magazine

Apparently I agreed to posting an ad in this magazine, which has almost the same name as one I had already paid for.
They have now sent messages and emailed invoices for an ad that was not asked for ..
This is about the fourth magazine that has also done the same thing.

Definately a scam, not only called but sent a postal bill to my postal address. Unfortunately I did say ok to print on the original sms which was my mistake. However did speak to him on the phone afterwards and told him to cancel all advertisements as I wasn't going ahead with it.

They are still at it! Called today. Another one like this is Telco100

I have had this done to my company. I have reported every one that has done it to me and cancelled everyone. They have even argued with me regarding payment. They threatened to bankrupt my business if I did not pay for the $720 they wanted from me. They went to my website took a picture of my logo and then used that to run an add. I did this as a once of for a company in Adelaide then all of eastern state businesses were sending me invoices and making threats. Why would I run a national ad when I am only in Adelaide. Why would I advertise in the eastern states when I am in Adelaide. Everyone that sent me an invoice I replied to them and CC'd the integrity team at the ACCC who look into fraud. I have never heard back from them.

SCAMMERS - Not sure of guys name but telling me I agreed to advertise in Crime & Safety Journal and artwork is ready for approval. He sent the artwork to my mobile as txt message and said just reply with “ ok to print” and followed that with a “This is not an Invoice” bill of $520
Pfft never heard of them but they try to convince you that you agreed to it months ago, they reserved a space for you and now it’s time to pay - SCAMMERS

I have had enough of these scamming phone calls from this number. They never leave a message and when you ring back they don't answer.

His name is Alex Fake advertising, said called a couple of months ago. Never spoke to him on this number before today.

Said they were from a police magazine and asked for my email address. I looked up his number and found he was a scammer and called him out.

Rang saying from police diaries, wasn’t, finally got a call back, said he was from crime ‘something’.
I asked where the money paid for advertising was actually advertised and he told me to piss off scammer
