Caller: St Vincents Hospital Ok so got to the bottom of this.. this number belongs to a company which provides an sms platform service. They host a number of small and large organisations ranging from legitimate businesses (in my case st vincents hospital) to smaller dodgy scammers unfortunately.
How it works, in my example the hospital would send correspondences on whatever UI was provided by ths hosting service, the host would then send these over to me via any one of their owned mobile numbers being this one, but not limited to one (received multiple responses from the same person on different numbers).
Unfortunately the host reuses numbers for all types of clients good and bad. Ive advised the hospital of my findings and they too are unhappy bout the service.
They had intimate details which i was quite alarmed about, so i had everything vetted by the hospital and it was all legit.
Please handle all your correspondences directly with your companys, and do not divulge sensitive info to these hosting numbers, as we don't know what's in their contracts. They may be selling your personal information.

Mine was a text asking to 'rep' if I was interested in a role based in my area. Obviously pulling from LinkedIn/SEEK profile details etc. Seems to be using a lot of tricks. Definitely spam.
Do not reply or engage. I've immediately blocked.

“Hi LISA, we are wanting to discuss with you the incident you were involved in with our client (reference: MV12552294) on 12.05.2021. We wanted to see if you have lodged a claim with your insurance company; if you have, please contact us via Click 2 Chat at https://nxt.to/hnPrM3n to advise us of your insurer and your claim number, or call us on 13 72 02 and quote the reference number MV12552294 to discuss this further. Regards, RACQ Insurance.”
I am not with RACQ, I was not involved in an incident, and the link just leads to a fake RACQ website. And RACQ don’t even send texts like this, they’ll always call. AND I get maybe 6 of these a week. Kind of concerned they have my name :/
