Caller: Oak Road Estate Report them to the ACMA at https://www.acma.gov.au/spam-complaint-form and shut them down! By resolving the bitly short URL (add a plus symbol, "+", to the end) it confirms the link is to oakroadestate (spammers). Interestingly, the full URL includes "&utm_campaign=Salesforce" right at the end. So maybe Salesforce are enabling the spam?! I started receiving these shortly after using the QR code at a Chambers Cellars in NSW, which made me suspicious, but I don't know if it's actually related. Could be just a coincidence.

Bloody annoying _spam_ SMS advertising wine, and with 'short' links of the form "http://bit.ly/********" which make it impossible to know what site you'll be taken to just by looking at the URL! Received three of these in the space of a week.

Caller: Oak Road Estate / Wine Group Received unsolicited sms from these clowns. Don’t drink wine, never been to there site and only got my new number five days ago and haven’t used it anywhere. Reporting them to ACMA and leaving bad reviews about them everywhere. They need to be fined and put out of business. They have been doing this for years. Harvey Norman doesn’t own this company does he? SCUM!

SMS re wine deals have picked up over last month. Blocked. Preying on us poor buggers in lockdown. Sorry, scammer, but it so much easier to get a delivery from the cheap and trusted bottle shops in close proximity (there are 7 bottle shops / hotels within 4km)

Just reported this to Scamwatch. Twice contacted by text and have sent STOP to them both times but this time over it, reported it and blocked the number. Appears to be selling wine but the links are different. Avoiding scammers these days is becoming a full time occupation. I don’t get to use my device for my purposes anymore due to the volume of these things.

I checked the phone number on Reverse Australia & it is the same number as others have complained about. Ihave read the other messages & the call I got, message said "Huge wine sale on Best-Selling Pinot Noir! Up to 60% off + free shipping. View deal." Firstly - I don't drink alcohol in any form. Secondly - I would never do business with people who make these phone calls. THIRDLY - WHY DID THEY PHONE ME AT 2.30AM This morning. PHONE RANG, I WOKE UP, LOOKED AT THE TIME, 2.30AM. ISN'T IT BAD ENOUGH THAT THEY HARRASS US ALL DAY LONG, HAVE THEY NOW TAKEN TO HARRASSING US DURING OUR SLEEPING HOURS AS WELL. What I can't understand is, do people actually accept this rubbish. Offering 60% off makes we wonder what they are actually selling, or if the product is actually delivered. I would never do business on the phone with scammers such as these & I would urge everyone to do the same.

The easiest way to get rid of any unwanted messages or phone call from any number, is to save it to your phone and then edit it and BLOCK it ! This is what i just did with this number.

Caller: Text messaged by https://bit.ly/3hZHDuh What rose my suspitions is that moments earlier I was reading an article from a link in FaceBook which directed me to https://bit.ly The SMS informed me that wine sale at 53% discount. No company no brand. Short story, I never had any interaction prior to this bit.ly stuff and certainly not any interest in any wine. I blocked the number.

I have received several of these texts now. I don't drink so I am annoyed. I just checked here to find out whether the opt out button would work or if it would lead to more spam. Going to try to block it. Thanks.
