Caller: Oak Road Estates Dear Victims of OAK ROAD ESTATE,
After numerous spam text messages I received from this mob named OAK ROAD ESTATE, I'd had a gut full. I ran a Company check through ASSIC AND CAME UP WITH SOME INTERESTING INFORMATION.
The details I have discovered regarding these muppets is quite interesting. To cut a long story short, as I know you all have also been spammed by these schisters, I obtained a Phone number through ASSIC. The number you need to ring is (03) 8551 3300. The woman who answered asked me for the phone number these spam messages was being sent to. I gave her my mobile number, and she said I shall remove your number immediately. I advised her that she had better have done it immediately as the next step I would take is to issue a WRIT against the WINE GROUP which is the parent company of OAK ROAD ESTATE. She assured me the number had been deleted. Should anyone need further information on this mob, please contact me via this web site.

Caller: Oak Road - wines "Oak Road" SMS with number hidden - Same situation as everyone else here - unsolicited - except I think I know how my number was passed to "Oak Road" and "Top Drop" 1. Qantas Frequent Flyer scheme - the card conditions ask that you agree that your details will be shared with their affiliates. Soon after signing up I started to recieve the Qantas wine Emails. Then soon after the Oak Road wines sms texts then Top Drop wines sms texts. Is there a link here? Qantas havn't replied to my enquiry of 10 days ago so............. 2. I contacted the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) The helpful person who answered asked me to approach my Telco (Telstra) and request a block on both the spammers numbers. He also told me that if my telco refused the TIO would take action against Telstra to enforce this. So there you have it. After all its the Telcos who are really responsible for the hidden number broadcast sms system and they charge these people for the service - make them stop. If they dont report them to the TIO - Ph. 1800 062 058

I have tried to opt out 4 times now ! They replied to my 1 star complaint review and promised this would be fixed . They have NO intentions of taking anyone off the text message setup .. it’s every day and so annoying! They have no right to harass people this way and they are complete LIARS ! They are doing themselves a huge injustice by being so rude . No one that has experienced this would EVER want to purchase their wine . I’m sick to death of it . There is no way at all to even block their numbers, as they have it set up so you CANT. I am now beyond infuriated 😒

Received a call on 26th October 2021 and finally ordered 2 cases of wine, 1 red 1 white. Case of white arrived on 30th Oct, and since then no sight of further case. Emails have been forwarded and tried to ring on numerous times but cannot speak to anybody. Received no response from emails as of 28th Nov. Quality of wine is nothing like its purported to be. As I have paid for the wine there is a good case that there is scamming or fraudulent or illegal practices going on here. I am going to get in touch with appropriate authorities to pursue this matter.

I tried ringing that number and you just get a message saying to use the contact form on the their website, which I have already sent three messages to and they still haven't stopped spamming me. I have replied STOP 14 times to their messages and it does nothing.

Dont bother threatening to issue writs. Whilst its annoying its not something you sue people over. You wouldnt anyway as it will cost YOU lots of money engaging a lawyer and court costs when you lose.
