In my experience this is related to the Telstra missed call service. I am setting up a new phone but wanted my old ringtone so I copied it over to the new phone. I then tested it by calling my Telstra number in the new phone, but rejected the call after listening to the ringtone. The time I placed the call, as shown in my call log, matches the time my Telstra number called this number.

This number shows up on my mobile call history I don't call that no and I dong know who it belongs to

I believe my ex is part of this scam.., he hacked closed and took everything from me and it started in 2017 and is still a huge issue.. every time I do the codes to erase he shows up moments later

I am CFA fiery , went to a fire lost my phone on the fire ground, in Febuary 2022 next day bought a new phone and kept the number, I have a $30 prepaid as I hardly use it since then it has recharge up to $300 , I changed the number and it still did it and that 0418 707 111 was the culprit , Telstra has now fixed it after a 3 hour visit to them, so when I kept the number it gave the scammer the use and when I changed the number somehow the scammer could still use my recharges, LOW LIFE SCUM BAGS!.

It's on my mobile at least nearly every second day, no call, just number put on obviously to see what I'm doing going etc. It's very nerve racking what happened to privacy, there is none

My husband has been using this number for months it’s connected to a wifi call and txt the woman at the other end is extremely manipulative and disruptive cat fish bullsh*t even down to promising my husband the world and manipulated him in getting me arrested to have me removed permanently be careful

Since Telstra forced me off longlife and on to the new "option", this number has been appearing even when I haven't made phone calls.

If it is Telstra then they are even more idiotic and just putting me through more hell than needed AGAIN as they are now investigating this. They are the worst carrier and really need to do something about their customer service because one simple question gets turned into a full 6 hour of explaining a question that they should just know without thinking.

They either do not understand English at all or have something in the air around them that causes their brain cells to die. I've chosen the hell of the problems I'm having rather than deal with any employee there until I change telcos... Telstra if you are doing this investigation and it turns out to be you that it is ...... No comment
