Spam caller. Called a number of times this week. Number doesn’t answer.

Number not connected message - Scammer selling "Green Solar" government rebates. Scammer: Have you got Solar?
Me: Yes, I have a lot.
Scammer: Would you like more?
Me: No more will fit, the roof is made from solar panels, can you replace my roof made from solar?
Scammer: I don't understand, do you want more solar we just want to know if you're eligible for the rebate...
Me: Oh that's great can you let me know the address of the company, can you also let me know what the government T&C's are?
Scammer: The company is in Melbourne "they will not know an actual address", eligible will be the home owner or business man "they don't know anything about the government T&C".

I asked enough over 5 minutes that showed this was a poor scam and everyone should be weary about call center type calls for any type of rebate, NEVER provide details on the phone including DOB, bank/CC details. Always ask for their ABN and call the company back on their phone number shown on their Australian website, NEVER provide details and ask to go to their offices if it's going to be an investment, also check google maps. Complex scams can go in great depth however most are seeming to be run by low educated, sad idiots "like Indian Frank" trying to get trusting people to loose their hard saved money.

my S9 identified call as SPAM.

Caller: Asian person?

Answered the phone number and it was a lady speaking an Asian (chinese?) language — sounded like it was pre recorded?

Unable to call the number back - no voicemail left.
Assuming overseas call being routed through an Australia mobile number.

Scammer selling solar installations. Had him spend 15 minutes on the call while I did other things, then made an appointment for his 'consultant' to go to a fake address tomorrow to give me a quote.

Caller tried to discuss government rebate for solar. Didn't give them a chance to say anything further and hung up. Loud call centre sounds in the background.
