We have a vehicle for sale on Gumtree. Within 2 minutes, got a text from0457 712 274 asking us to email them. Refused & told them to email via the Gumtree site. They replied from a 2nd number of 0418 336 906 asking again for our email address. We refused & asked them to call us. Reply came back from a THIRD mobile number of 0418 213 466 saying they couldn't phone, therefore can't buy the car. All three numbers are part of a scam group.

Sent text message saying "Hello Jennifer, your verification code is 459690. Please enter this code to verify your details and continue booking"

Called from that number saying I had paperwork to pick up at Swan Hill police station. Had email address attached fl it so I emailed back. They emailed back once. Unsure if it's scam or not
