These scammers just don't give up, do they? This particular number has been associated with scamming/phishing for over 3 years!

Exactly the same text, except for a different reference number. I will report to scamwatch, hoping that if enough people report it they will be investigated.

Today I got an SMS which read- (my name), please call 1300 088 723 immediately to discuss an important matter. Quote xxxxxxxx when you call. Thank you, Dun & Bradstreet.
I've never heard of them & thought it was strange that a company would send an SMS rather than call me directly.
A big thank you to those of you that have blogged about this SCAM & warned others about this supposed business that STEALS YOUR IDENTITY, tells you that you have outstanding debts & asks for CREDIT CARD No over the phone, adds FALSE CHARGES (ie $100 AU) to your phone bill without your knowledge for a service you know nothing about until the bill arrives, repeatedly texts or calls but when you call them & push them to tell you something about yourself they hang up or say they can't open your file right now because somebody else is using it.
Please report it to Scamwatch asap so these people get caught & rot in goal.

I never answer numbers I don't know, including mobile numbers which is what they use to suck you in. I follow that by looking up those numbers online to see what people have said. Just got the call from this number almost immediately followed by the Dun and Bradstreet text. Thanks everyone for your info. Wish they would stop calling though. Almost every day.

Got the email 2 days ago and have had two phone calls today already. I know it's a scam so have just ignored it. Kelly Wiseman wants you to ring back a Sydney phone number. Sounds very official, so many people will get sucked in.

Ok so i got the same message today and thought the same thing this isnt right surely i would have had a letter regarding something i owed. looked up dun an bradstreet on the internet and rang them instead of the number given in the text - a young girl answered and i asked her if this was a scam and she said no we always send text messages out to people - so i thought ok well i rang dun and bradstreet and not that number - she then proceeded to tell me who i was before i even said who i was (wierd) she said i had a debt of $23.01 toll fee - she then said she would transfer me as she did - i got an indian guy who said he cant access my file cause someone was already using it? (this again is weird) he also kept saying the same thing and asked could he call me back - i said no i will call you if i need to and hung up - how do we know who the real dun and bradstreet is?

Got a message today. Thought was sus so googled number and saw this site. Very good everyone. I will report to Scamwatch

Sounded super suss, and a 2 minute Google search gave me the truth.

Thanks everyone for advice and comments. I received this sms today and looked up the legitimacy of it online now and am grateful to have found that my suspicions were confirmed.

I got the text with reference number and asking me to call them for important matter. I gave them my DOB but refused to pay anything over phone and asked them to send me mail for the same. They are asking for $25.

It comes out to be Dun & Bradstreet

Got txt today to call 1300 398 546. From 0416 907 428. Looked up D & B and saw all the scam texts so go take a jump fraudsters.

Looks like scam is continuing.

I have just received an SMS indicating similar info 0416 907 428) to those listed except that the phone number has changed to 1300 171 592.

Just got the same D&B phishing text.
