Caller: Impact Financial Services

They rang me 2 days ago asking for me then today asking for my Mum, I asked what do you want my mother for and they said thats confidential. I said listen MOFO you rang me asking for my mum's number ( who is a pensioner btw ) so F.O. Scammer.

Keep ringing home phone. They do not leave a message.

I returned a call from the number 0415 651 809 and spoke with someone who didn't mention the company name

Rings and then hangs up when you answer

Caller: SCAM

This is another number under the 'Impact Financial' umbrella. They say they're with Telstra or another utility provider and ask you to confirm your surname and date of birth. They proceed to say you owe money on unpaid bills. It's an obvious scam but they can sound quite genuine to people who don't instantly recognise it as a con. They tell you the call is being recorded etc. and that if you don't give personal details, they can't help you. I have no idea why the carriers of these numbers don't block them immediately when recognised as being used to try scam people in to giving them money.

I called back the number 0415 651 809 and the lady on the other line did not mention the company name
