Just received a Scam message from +61 454 399 226 said 'you have been mentioned in this photo'. A pdf document and the following link also attached 'abulousvoucher'. The most scarey thing is the message also had my name.

got the same message yournewsms.xyz and yes it had my name

Just received one of these texts from 0447 780 888 saying "*name*, you received (1) new photo " and then a link containing **yournewsms.xyz**. I won't be clicking on it as I can only assume that it is a scam or something worse.

Same message as everyone else. Received from 0426 880 304. Didn't open it.

I also got the message 'you have been mentioned in...' etc with from 0443693905 on 6th SEP 2017. Cricy, it had my name on it and that certainly did startled me! Anyway, blocked the number.

I received the SMS from 0456 686 032 claiming my name's been mentioned in this photo and to click on the supplied link yournewsms.xyz.
Definitely a scam, definitely trying to install malware, possibly keyloggers and remote access program for attempt at ransom/black mail...whatever you want to call it.
Either way...bad news...NEVER CLICK ON THE LINK...just ignore.
Not much good to block the number as they will just use another, possibly computer generated, to by pass the block.
Definitely Annoying.

Just got one from 0421 438 944. Called the number, a young lady named kirsten replied, knew nothing about what I was talking about. Very odd.

Text came through with the number showing 614587264436
No country code, or correct local formatting (which would imply the number should show up as 04587 264 436)
Message read: [Name], you received (1) new photo

I didn't open it, auto deleted. BYE!

I had a text from 0476 611 932, but it has an s at the end of my name, like a plural, so I figured it was a scam.

0460 789 866 - You have been mentioned in this photo, same link.

I had the same message from 0414 755 517. Blocked and deleted.

SCAM! I received an sms from 0471 510 102 saying I had been mentioned in a photo, with a link to yournewsms.xyz
I didn't click on the link.

I received the same message addressed to me with reference to my first name. The message was received from 0493 037 884.

I did not respond to it because it's 100% scam and blocked the number until the next sh*tty message is received from a different number where I will ignore and block again.
