From 0478 829 608: 'Jess, you have been mentioned in this photo:'

I've received this same message and a couple of similar messages in the past. Personally, I believe my number was taken from Gumtree. They emailed me a while back saying there was a breach of their database and my 'information' was compromised (my name and phone and possibly email address).

This message referred to me as 'Jess' and Gumtree is one of the few places I'm listed as Jess and not Jessica.

I got 1 from 0412 392 891 in Australia

Just received a text saying same..

The same but number is 0484 005 788. Luckily I checked this on web firstly.

i blocked it. i couldn't call the number. but i sent 92 vicious texts unloading my childhood. i hope it cost them money

Received the same message with link from 0499 504 737 to the list. Deleted text msg immediately.

I got the same message as everyone here about how my name was mentioned in photo and there was an attachment. How can I report this ?

Received a spam SMS from 0475 395 233 saying...

Received this same message but from the above number. They used my name, but spelt incorrectly as "Kerry".

Got the same message from 0415 519 350 "You have been mentioned in this photo...yournewsms.xyz"

just received a message from 0481 863 182 saying:
"myname, you have been mentioned in this photo: http://fabulousvoucher.com/etcetcetcblahblah"
Super scary because they knew my name, but the number they sms me at was under my fathers name, not mine.
