Caller: Scammer Apparently, I bought a camera and encouraged to call (08) 7200 7080 if disputed. Oh man, this is so obvious! I still remember what I did today - and I didn't buy a camera ;) And if I coincidentally had, I would have paperwork including phone numbers or google the store's actual phone number. I feel for everyone who wants to be friendly, clarify this issue and gets scammed as a consequence :(

The trick is asking victims to pay $2 shipping fee on top of a thousand dollars worth iPhone or MacBook etc.

8.42am. 7th Jan 2021 SMS, (short message service) aka a 'text message'. "Hi *****!, You made a purchase last year in or JB (store) and by doing this entered our New Year Draw - Congratulations you w0n: be0r.me/LLZ18Z1K"
Last string is a url. It's a worry they have a name. JB could be construed as JB Hi-Fi, a publicly-listed Australian retailer that sells and specialises in consumer goods. They have been notified.

When I answer they immediately hang up, it's very annoying.
