Robert Mannix is the biggest coward and very unprofessional person I have ever come across. He has no decent bone in his body. No ethics and no values. He prays on Vulnerable people and he is an insult to man's name. He made a deal to take my house away on 30/6/14. This has been going on for the past 5 months. I had to find another place to rent so he can start his work. I advised him of the date I was moving out and all seemed ok. I saw him with another person in front of my house on Wednesday 25/6/14 he said he will call me. That was the end of it. He changed his mind but had no decency to let me know. He stopped receiving my calls replying to my text or messages. I am now in financial problem beacause of him. I have to pay rent find someone to demolish the house and pay my mortgage at the same time. I curse you Robert Mannix and I hope you pay for what you have done.

i think you people are the f*cked up ones here fancy leaving sh*t like that as comments with no proof, seriously I doubt he sat down and told you how much his getting for a house and its none of your business you were a worker so you wouldn't understand all background cost and your the silly f*ck who stayed for $15 an hour so how many hrs did you do d*ckhead cause if I didn't like the pay wouldn't have done 1, and you knew he was dumping how long its d*ck heads like you say nothing at the time but winge to anyone who would listen after your not working,

I worked for this business a time ago he pays a measly $15per hr whilst he makes 60,000 per house cash and was dumping asbestos at eying along the roadside because he was too tight to pay tip fees.and affords to buy toys eg Harley's new 4wds all whilst living in public housing....what a legend.

you got to be joking, the guy is a full on legend in the industry ,his advice is spot on, his workman ship is top class and he never left a stone unturned when he done my job from Mereweather to Medowie. our house came out picture perfect thanks to Rob's ongoing comunication with myself and all contracters concerned with the moving and reconstruction of the house.

My wife and i engaged Robert Mannix to move our house from Merewether to Medowie, this man is with out a doubt a legend in the house mover industry. Rob was 100 percent honest and accurate in every detail of the complete process he went beyond the contract in every detail. I've worked with mannix and found him to be fair he done a good job on all the houses we moved never had any problems he is professional you've got to remember its not an easy job so get over it

Again this guy just left half a house on the side of the road in a built up suburb
( parked on the wrong side of the road right up to a corner) No thought of people trying to safely reverse out of driveways or see around it to turn the corner. Absolutely NO consideration for anyone else but him self.

We engaged Robert Mannix to move a house, in October 2018.
We took his word that it would be no problem, that he would handle everything, and that he had 40 years experience.
We paid 50% up- front, and felt that this was fair, considering that moving a house is a big deal... ( our dream home)...
The trouble began shortly after we made the first payment, " His mother in law was ill " was the excuse... as he fell behind removing the building from it's prior location ( we were under contract to remove within a timescale)...
As Robert Mannix became even less reliable ( not turning up, when arranged - and not calling to excuse himself, or answering calls) - he sprang the " Mother in law is dead" one...
After returning to the job for a while, progress payments were insisted on...
Then he disappeared " to Byron Bay" (he claimed that his wife booked the holiday, without letting him know) over a month of unanswered calls and messages later, he reappeared. By this time, both we, and the previous owners of the building were at our wits end ( we had even contacted his insurers to start a claim)...
The building was now overdue it's removal date, and we could have been held liable for payments to the previous owners, as they had a new build going ahead.
Mannix then removed the building, to the roadside outside their picturesque Hunter Valley property... and "dumped" it on the side of the road ( much to the annoyance of the previous owners, and their neighbors- who's businesses the eyesore impacted).
The building was due to arrive in February 2019...
But stating "issues with road permits " it sat, open to all, on the roadside ( in 2 halves)...
Months of delay, excuses, and "going dark" ( no communication whatsoever).
The building arrived on our front paddock at the end of June 2019...
Robert then disappeared until December( by phone), saying he would return in January ( as he was working on a house that the owners wanted to be in by Christmas ( how nice... we were only 10 months behind schedule)..
He arrived in January, and moved the house 250m, joining the halves (almost...)
Now to lift the house into position...
We BEG for a final date, to see the back of him... and to engage trades people ( those that will now deal with us after countless delays caused by Robert Mannix.
Another progress payment...
Another disappearance....
This time he claims to have been "rushed to hospital "...
Another cry of "wolf! Wolf"...
One too many...
We have decided to engage someone honest...
Someone reliable...

I was storing a jeep and trailers on a property he was leasing and lost them in a large fire which he claimed on insurance along with other people we lost thousands of dollars the fire was extremely suspicious to me so I've now been the subject of foul play as far I'm concerned him and his dodgy business can go to hell.
