Australian Contact Centre, scam

Call from 'Australian Insurance Centre'.. 10 second delay then a polite English girl spoke. Said, no thanks and blocked.

Hung up after I answered.

Scammers/Crooks. If you gave them any personal info, call the cops and freeze your bank account ASAP.

this number called my mobile, only heard voice second time, some very foreign guy, thought he mentioned survey on income, so hung up on him, suggest everyone do the same

Yeah, you know it's a scam call when there's a 3 second lag from the time you answer the phone to them introducing themselves. annnnd block!

Scam, told me that the conversation may be recorded. I replied that I'm already recording it and company policy is not to talk to telemarketers and hung up.

Suggest you do the same.

Rang to ask if I knew about the Australia communications company.... and proceeded to ask about insurance.

Caller said he was from the Australian Contact Centre. We've had them run a massive spam wave at the office.
