Just had Heath comparison nuisance call and have blocked number

Caller: I presume the health insurance comparer

I will never again look up information to try and compare products who request my telephone contact, within 1 min it was phoning me and all over my facebook page

I instantly received a call from 0411 676 195 when I compared health funds. I didn't request a phone conversation as I was just looking.

I now use a unique free email address and a cheap prepaid mobile phone number when completing online comparisons etc, so that my usual communications channels are not bombarded with garbage messages and calls.

Ran to the phone to pickup. Said "Hello" and gave 3 seconds for a reply then I hung up. Came here to look at all your responses. Have now blocked the number. Haven't done an online health comparison as am sticking with my provider. So don't know how they got hold of it.

Go a quote from health insurer online and got a call from this number immediately. Annoying!!!!

Thanks for the heads up everyone, blocking this number who just tried to call. Didn't even look at a health comparison site.

Hi, was just comparing health insurance this morning to get a quote online, didn’t request a call back but later this number rang which I didn’t recognise so I looked it up and found it to be the health comparison site. Quite annoyed as I didn’t request a call back, so now I will ignore answering this number.

All I wanted was a fund comparison, as soon as I had finished putting in phone no, I got a call. Email also was not an option!! Searched the number and it was them. If I want to speak to someone I will call at my leisure,not going to be harassed by these people. Will block the number and the email.

I just did the same. Looked at comparison site and was called within minutes of filling out the mandatory fields to get price. Phone should not be mandatory. I was just cipimparing prices and features. If I want more info I would call.
