I have the list of contacts that know my mobile number, so it is extremely rare that I get a call other than these contacts. I simply won't answer a call i do not know, as nobody contacts you directly, unless they want something. Cynical perhaps, but inevitable in these times of scammer pricks. My solution, which may benefit users of this site, create a group contact list on your phone, or simply a new contact. Add all the scammer calls to this contact and label that contact as 'Wankers to Ignore'. Works for every wanker who tries to call me and makes the sh*t-list.

Asking about life insurance.

Ignore this number they are a total pest, ACCC should be made aware as they are quite aggressive in their tactics for the purposes of "informing" you of their services. The company he claimed he was from is: " Australia Contact Centre".

Basically, the bloke was very insistent, spoke very fast terms that are normally used in a contract. Just hang up... total waste of time.

Said they're from contact Australia or not trying to tell me anything.. and then she went on and on about Virgin Australia life insurance or Vodafone Australia life insurance can't quite remember.. after I told her I was not interested she continued to ring me, until I told her the only way I'll be signing up to the life insurance is if she was paying for my life insurance. Don't think she like that very much she hasn't rung me back but it's only been 10 minutes.
