Spam

This is a scam and needs to be reported.

The calls I am receiving sounds similar to this recent article:

answered, no one speaks and hangs up

Is there a way to stop getting these phone calls.

He said he was calling about a solar rebate scheme but when asked what Government Department, he dodged and said he worked for a private firm. Then hung up when questioned further. Initially Hiya identified the number as Debbie, which is a weird name for a indian dude :)

They just called then it says - Optus advises the number has been disconnected. Dodgy

rings and can see the number. then hangs up - was on the phone so could not answer it. anyway no message left. But when I go to call back 1 minute later - "number has been disconnected". They call again this time 30 minutes later I do not answer. No message left. I immediately dial back - "number has been disconnected".

So unless that is their voice call message - who knows

I called back number 0411 164 566 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.
