Suzanne phoned and said I had not paid for an advertisement placed in magazine last year called Kids Health and Safety. She didnt give any details about when I had sponsored the magazine.. In 2011 publisher of this magazine was taken to court by the ACCC. She gave the name of Lisa Jones as a contact for me.
Coincidentally, at the same time, I received an email from Amy with an undated invoice for over $500.00 for the magazine Fire and Emergency Guide. I queried the date and she said March and when I replied she changed it to 2015. The company Harbour Corp Pty Ltd was incorporated in October 2015.
These scams seem to get a new life every year.

Was given this number and a name of "LISA JONES" as a contact for a false billing invoice we were sent for "Fire and Emergency Guide Magazine".

We did NOT agree to any publications and we have no proof of verbal agreements nor a copy of said publication.

They target small businesses by telephone and falsely claim that you have agreed to take out a marketing advertisement in their magazine.

- The magazine is fake and doesn't exist.
- They will not stop calling you and threatening to take you to court if you do not pay.
- Its an elaborate scam that's been going for months if not years.

DO NOT PAY!! They have no legal standing and will not carry out their empty threats.
In the end you may need to unfortunately change your business phone number to cease the phonecalls. Contact ScamWatch and the ACCC and even google the ABN/Magazine title to see the countless other businesses they have scammed!
