I had an sms from this number asking me to ring Radio Rentals and Rentlo on 1300 556 904

They have been fairly constantly calling me, haven’t picked up because of the complaints here.

Left a weird voicemail, something about horses, no idea what the hell they want!

Caller: Engie ??????

Message from Engie (I doubt it) regarding our electrical connection to our new property and requesting we call our previous supplier as there is an issue around tariffs. New Property = new connection and no previous supplier.
Also received an email from Engie without their normal letterhead popping up with the same disjointed message and a ripper of a reference number. ref:!00D2v01fZBL.!500lf09rAg1:ref
I have phoned Engie using their regular number and their reference number is only eight digits.

Sent me a text message. Knew my christian name and electricity supplier. Wanted me to send my rates notice by return message to confirm property ownership. Blocked.

sent a text with my first name and address, saying someone wanted to switch to Simply Energy etc etc. SCAM>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> BLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a message from this no asking to call SA Fines Enforcement on (08) 8273 8099 with some sort of ref no.

0408 444 716 called my mobile then smsd "We have an important matter to discuss with you. Please call 1300 729 959 quoting reference "my mobile number.." ..

Scam, " We have an important matter to discuss with you. Please call 1300 556 904 and quote (7 letter reference)" bull sh*t

Didn't call back as I thought its spam.

Text received asking to call (03) 9225 2027 to discuss an important matter. No other information was provided. Looks as if they have changed the tactics to scam people it seems

Scam - Also on 21 July 2016 I received an SMS and then a call from 0408 444 716 "You may be entitled to a refund..."
This is obviously a boiler room / scam. A very dishonorable way to make a living...
For a start, organisation don't tend to go out of their way to give you a refund.

Looks like it is a scam - never had an account with the company oit mentioned (Radio Rentals)

Received a text message today 20.07.16 from 0408 444 716 saying
"You may be entitled to a refund on your account previously held with Radio Rentals. Please call 1300 556 904 quoting reference 6995868."
Googled the number, low and behold another scam apparently...

I had an sms from this number saying: You may be entitled to a refund on your account previously held with Radio Rentals. Please call 1300 556 904 quoting reference 6961299. I assumed a scam, so I haven't replied to it.
