Hi, I am the guy who purchased your 1955 Ford Customline LHD powder blue. I have a perfect garage. I drove the car in and parked it about 12 months ago and only just decided to give it a birthday. The car was not driven and there are good reasons why.
I have a problem starting the girl. i first thought that it was the starter motor turning over to slow. I bought and fitted a new one. New 6v Battery. plugs,leads, coil, 98 0ctane fuel, I have spark, carby sprays two good fine squirts, I tried another 6v in series to give us more grunt, checked the exhaust for any blockages, still nothing. it used to run fine and start easy.
