If you've only gotten your phone number in the last 7 years, it's probably a recycled number... Credit corp probably have the last owner's number on file.

This person had MY phone number, but someone else's name attached to it. Who do I call to report my phone number being stolen??

They call me multiple times a day and even as late as 11pm at night, I don’t have any debts and they ask for a person that’s not me. No matter how many times I say they have the wrong number they still call me, I blocked the number and they use a different one each time. They don’t stop!

Called me saying she desperately needed to contacted my friend but couldn’t. Knew my friends full name so I thought it was serious. I contacted my friend who was suss and we did some research and found this page. I can’t even express how illegal and how much of a privacy breach this is. Especially trying to go through a friend. I’d love to know how she got my details, I even asked and she wouldn’t tell me.
