they have your personal information but do not know how they get it. and this guy said he is from australia tax information. and talk a lot and then ask me to meet and said can have lot of tax deduction and mortage deduction too.

Just another scammer. I must have really been sold off! I receive scam call & emails daily every day. To all call centres, if not in my contacts I refuse to answer the damn phone & immediately block ALL numbers I don’t care who you are or what you want - how about you get a good honest job like the people you try to scam :(

New number for the same mob that call me every 6 months or so. They rang to offer advice on tax savings, with someone "in my area"; they had my name & my partner's name but incorrect details on our employment status - I might have lied to them last time they rang ;-) I questioned the legitimacy of EBS and the woman (who had been reading from a script) said they were calling on behalf of dhinvestments.com.au (turns out to be real) and gave an address of 155 Varsity Pde, Varsity Lakes QLD. I noted I'm on the DNC Register, it's illegal to cold-call me, I would report them to the DNCR (as I've done at least 3 times previously) & demanded they remove me from their call list. She said they don't call those on DNC and would update her records. I noted that this is what they've said the last 3 times too, and I'll be making yet another complaint to DNC. She was very polite.
