Sounded like a call centre. Asked for me by name. When they asked to speak to speak to me, I responded with "Speaking" and they hung up.

When I rang back it was a private number and she promised she hadn't been on her phone (and the voice and background noise was very different).

I propose that a private number has been hacked to be displayed as a scammer's outbound number
