SCAM SCAM SCAM caller from 0402 959 725 !!!!!!!!!Called saying his name was Lee Chapler from the police speak quite fast asked me to donate $330 towards the street safe handbook. I would receive a copy and I would get a business card size add in the handbook and I would receive a certificate of appriciaten This is a scam, reporting to to the police. Yes, I also got a call, 2-3 days ago. Said he was from Fed police, different number same story - business on FB... contribute to Fed Police magazine!!!

Call from "federal police" asking for money, he mentioned my successful business (which is a FB page with 12 likes) I ended up hanging up on him

Called today, Aussie about 30ish, male. Said he was from police and then mumbled something. Asked if the business owner was there, knew business name. We are not on Facebook or gumtree but advertise on yellow pages. They seem to be covering all the bases

Phoned today, still scamming

Called me trying to "sell" some ad in a police magazine. When I asked where he got my phone number he quoted my Facebook page.
I called him a scammer amongst other things such as thief, con man.
He hung up on me

Got a call from this number straight wanting me to "support" people with PTSD. I asked the guy where he got my number from, and he replied places like facebook and gumtree. My number isn't on any of those sites. I said, this is a private number, and it's on the 'Do Not Call' register, and he needs to tell his manager to wash the numbers. He continued to get me to donate by saying, oh but its for a good cause. So I replied rather sternly that he was pushing the boundaries mate. Then he hung up. Awwww, poor lil scammer copped a serving! I will be reporting this number in an official capacity.

A woman with a very matured voice called - and she sounded so well seeking some donation for sick kids. Turns out she's a fraud.

a girl asked for my name and then promptly hung up. obviously they are building a database.
