The message included my first name and contained a suspicious link saying that they "missed sending it to me".

Do not open or respond to this text - they personalize it and then say they missed sending you a link that you shouldn't open. BLOCK immediately as it's a scam.

Definitely a scam.The message came with a URL which i wont be clicking on.

Received an SMS from this number, addressing me by my first name and including a link to a dodgy URL - needless to say I didn't click on it and advise anybody else contacted this way to do the same.
