I was stupid enough to answer (preggers brain, not thinking straight). They asked for some random person and I smelled a rat, so hung up quickly. Should I be worried about hacking etc - if so, what do I do about this? Thanks.

If you have a smartphone you can add the number to a blocked number list. They will still ring your phone, but it will reject it instantly. I've done this on my Samsung phone easily, only took a couple of minutes

If you got an outlook account go to your account settings and there is a part where you can look at recent activity. there are other things you can check to see if you been hacked - usually printer spools, ur firewall, or click start and in the text box type regedit...that will also show you recent activity on your pc

Me too now - another number added to the 'ZZZ_SPAM_Ignore' contact on my phone. Doesn't stop them calling me, but I'll know not to answer any of their calls!

Can anyone tell me how I go about blocking this No? I got called by this No twice yesterday and once today so far! I had a bad gut feeling about this No and don't answer it if I don't know the No. So glad I did this. Thanks.

I wouldn't verbally abuse these people. Just ask them for their ABN (Australian Business Number) and if they don't know what you are talking about just block their number and you shouldn't hear from them again... if they answer with an ABN just Google it and you should know if it is legitimate.

Having seen so many complaints here, I guess we are all too soft with those people.
