Caller: Berry Street

I’ve had countless missed calls from this number. Claiming to be Berry Street who care for young people and children who have been involved with family violence, abuse and neglect. I listened to the lady until she said I can help by paying $10-$15. As soon as she mentioned money I hung up and blocked the number.

Please be aware that CHARITIES ARE EXEMPT from the do not call register. They can call even if you have your name on the register.

They called me three times, and when I told them I was 12 they hung up

Had this number call me at 7.38pm didn’t know the number so I didn’t answer

Called me 4 times in 5 minutes at 8:15am then called again at 7:20pm the same night. No message was left when I declined the calls.

No msg left when they called. Answer machine identified them when I called back. Will be investigating further as 8 calls in 3 days is harassment.

Called back on this number (who hadn’t left me a message). Their answering machine says they are Public Outreach and will call me back. The website advises they fundraise for selected charity partners. http://www.publicoutreachaustralia.com

Caller stated on behalf of 'Change' who are requesting $10-15 donation to give Nepalese girls a voice against people trafficking.

This is a legitimate charity, and seems to do a lot of good work. I just don't know why, when you don't answer because you don't recognise the number, they don't leave a message to say who they are. It's very annoying.

I just blocked this through my phone as they are constantly ringing me. I regularly put myself on the do not call list. This should change to one sign up not sign up every 6 months.

lots of calls wont let me call back so have blocked them.
