Unless you want to go into detail about your current electricity / gas provider with a total random offering to give you a better deal when they don't know who your current provider is (and therefore what your current deal is or how this organisation could improve on your current deal), don't answer. Unsolicited telemarketing that has the potential to be seen as scamming, especially when they're asking for your details. Ummm, you called me - why you calling people you don't know???

This number just rang me as I was reading these posts I picked up the phone 3 seconds and they hung up no hello nothing.

Answered but no one there. Suspect its someone caing from overseas.

After having been scammed , no , had $5,000 taken from me in April my standard answer to anyone is " Identify yourself... "
This number has called me and I'm using Google to track phone numbers. As far as I know it is not Cash Converters but the owner of this landline number should, and could easily be sought, within minutes.
The fraud squad here in my state are doing their job, Victorian Police are not.

This number rings and I let it ring out and instantly they are ringing again all day every day. I will be blocking it now.

I received two calls today. Trying sell me electricity plans from overseas. Is someone selling my number overseas? May a time with fair-trading ombudsman.

I have had several calls about an internet land line but he is so rude and doesn't listen only to ring back throughout the day about the same thing after I have asked to be removed from their phone listing cold call and he thinks I am a idiot and just keeps rambling.............go away!!

Keeps ringing but does not leave a message. Now I know it is spam/junk whatever I'll block it. Sometimes wish we could put our hand down the line and grab these buggers by the throat.
