I think it is an outsourced telemarketing service.

Multiple missed calls from this number.

Managed to answer twice only for them to hang up.

Call centre for outbound sales... if you call the number back it gives you the option to remove your number from their lists.

Had like 10 missed calls over the past week from them.. call back and its a message service

Hung up as soon as I answered and calling back it was a call centre for Optus.

claiming to be optus, had some of my info, but i think it was a scam, do not trust

Why am I getting phone calls nearly every day and they hang up? No message either????

Optus Mobile sales to re-contract.

I have the same problem as the other people. A guy calling saying that what I am paying for on my current phone plan is a little high and they want to offer me a cheaper pricing option. But I didn't want to provide any details at all, especially over the phone to an entire stranger.
Not even sure how they got my number.

Well you would have got a text msg along the lines of special handset offer when you renew this service for 24 months on a new optus plan. offer ends 30th may

I spoke to Ryan, who was quiet helpfull and hooked me up to a new contract and gave me a good offer! its legit ! he only really asks to confirm your number name and date of birth its for security reasons and to make sure they are speaking to the correct person.

He never onced asked me for any other personal details like bank details etc! anyhow the offer ends today , so dont think you will be recieving more calls unless theres a new offer ...

I know it is legit as i have signed into my optus account yest and my account is showing the new offer and new plan ! which is alot cheaper than my last plan!

Just had a call from this number said his name was Ryan from Optus telling me my contract was up in August and wanted to offer a new one I've never had this before wouldn't trust them told him was not going to renew as the reception is sh*te I'm going telstra he couldn't tell me what date in aug or how much if I wanted to get out now wanted to transfer me to another number just be careful everyone cheers
