They call claiming to be Optus. They said I was over my data allowance and wanted to know why and what I was doing to make it go over. I said I didn't want to discuss it and hung up. I called Optus straight back and asked if I was over my data allowance. They said I was no where near it. So it was a dodgy call! Lucky I twigged early and hung up on them. I had calls for weeks.

lizz - you can get them to sto calling you by calling back that number - you get the option of taking your number off the list

I was receiving daily calls from (03) 0990 6626 which I did not answer, now I am receiving daily calls form (03) 9982 8800 and have been on the Do Not Call list for 2 years. Will report the number to Optus.

bunch of idiots. They called and asked for Teresa when if they took 2 seconds to read the screen carefully they would see my name is Therese (no A)! So I told them they had the wrong number :-)

Have been getting calls from 9009-6650 and ignoring them, now its 9982-8804 - so they're also using different last numbers so they don't look like a generic 6600/8800 number - never leaving a message is a sure sign. I'm on the Do Not call register but am an Optus customer so am stuck with it I guess.

I was getting (and ignoring) calls from (03) 9009 6600 for 10 days and now, suddenly, from (03) 9982 8800! so glad i ignored it and googled the numbers. Would like to know how to stop it but am not ever answering either of those numbers.

I have recently canccelled all services from optus and they keep trying to call if you call from land line it says its a sale service call from mobiel it says disconted its just total crap and a joke

Boy am I sick of Optus or whoever they have contracted their telemarketing crap out to. Had about 4 calls the last 2 days! Poor effort by Optus and they will lose business from this pushy conduct.

bullsh*t calls like this make me want to stop using optus, i just dont answer, and if I do answer (iphone if its locked you cant disconnect) i just hang up right away.

i'm listing it in my phone as don't answer. for the next time it rings.
