Legit call, but a sales call. I called them back, the guy in the call centre looked at notes (I'm a customer for electricity) and put me through to someone else. The new guy said he was just calling to check if I have a natural gas connection. I presume he was hoping to sell me the idea of coming across.

Answered the phone and was immediately meet by waiting music.

Scam call...

Asked for my full name, address and date of birth.

Said that they were from Red Energy and someone had put in a request from Origin Energy to change over to Origin.

I called the Real Red Energy and Origin Energy and Origin energy had no record of me asking to change over my account.

I called back number (03) 9977 6000 reached IVR for Red Energy.

Did not leave a message. Called back, machine answered
