Choose Health Insurance

I responded to a "Health Insurance Comparison" on the WAtoday website and like other comments above they call and then hang up. Now blocked them!

I called back number (03) 9976 0850 reached voice mail of Choose Well Health Insurance, voicemail says they have a website choosewell.com.au.

Choose Well insurance. I keep getting calls from them. Do not want them contacting me.

They call at dinner time which is illegal report them to ACC or Dept of Fair Trading

Annoying. Why ring then hang up when I answer?

I suspect they're not hanging up - as they're a legit company looking to sign up new health insurance clients - but that the calls drop out? Much like some overseas call centre calls. Bring back the old switchboard operator days :D !

Same with me. This is the health insurance comparison website. They have called me continuously over the past few days. I have added them to my blocked call list. Out of curiosity I called them to say please remove me from their list. She seems to be amused and sounded like she was laughing. I said that I don't appreciate being harassed by them. I said I would report them to the Ombudsman if they called again.

Unrequested call

I have no idea how they got my number but when I answered the call I could hear the call centre in the background for 5 seconds before a poor quality recording cut in. The beginning of the recording was so static filled you could only hear "Hello, this is........ for important information about your health insurance call 1300 xxxxxx" So deceptive! I'm sure many people have believed it's their insurer calling.

Within about a minute of agreeing to the info from healthinsurancecomparison.com.au(and the part about them not being spam) they had send an email, a text message, and followed up with a phone call. The robot left an automated voicemail.

This number is the second caller - the other was Bupa - since I checked premiums on a comparison site and decided I had nothing to gain by changing. I told that to this caller and he said that online comparisons could be a bit vague; better to talk to someone to get the real picture. And I'm on the do-not-call register. Grrrrr...!!

If I get another call from these idiots I will contact them on the website threatening legal action.
